Yamamoto-cho Townspeople Charter

For a bright, pleasant and harmonized town, we:

1. love our home province and build a beautiful town,
2. make a town where we can lead a meaningful life and be warm,
3. deepen our education and have a town with a cultured atmosphere,
4. create a town where we can work healthily and pleasantly, and,
5. with our efforts, realize a rich town.

Town Tree

Black pine

A symbolic tree was selected from among the public to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Yamamoto-cho. Black pine was the choice of the townspeople.
[Established in November 1975]

 

Town Flower

Azalea

Organizations, such as the "Wild Grass Club", were asked to select the town flower. The Selection Committee recommended the "Azalea" as the town flower.

Town Bird

Swallow

Members of the "Wild Bird Society of Japan" in Yamamoto were asked to select the town bird. According to their opinion, the Selection Committee recommended the "Swallow" as the town bird.
[Established on November 1985]

 

Town Emblem

Town Emblem

The two kanji characters of Yamamoto were made into a design. The circle expresses the union, reconciliation and cooperation of the townspeople, and represents a strongly turning gear.
